Real people. Real matches. Real rewards in virtual worlds.
A member-first dating and social hub for Second Life and, beginning in 2026, OpenSim-based virtual worlds.
Realmatch.Social combines curated venues, matchmaking tools, shared experiences, gifts, badges, messaging, and a
closed-loop Game Token reward system designed for real people, not bots or scams.
Realmatch.Social is a dedicated social and dating ecosystem built first on a Second Life region named
Real Match, with expansion planned into OpenSim-based virtual worlds starting in 2026
(early testing underway in Alternate Metaverse).
It gives adults a safe, structured way to meet real people, go on dates, build friendships, and grow relationships
in virtual worlds — without the chaos of random club hopping, fake profiles, or drama-driven groups.
The platform is guided by three core ideas:
Connection — Matchmaking tools, contacts, and messaging that make it easy to meet compatible people.
Experience — A full island with lounges, dining, dancing, games, and upcoming speed dating.
Reward — A system where social engagement earns badges, levels, GT-powered gifts, and premium perks.
The goal is simple: help real people find real matches in a comfortable, repeatable way, and reward them for taking part.
Realmatch.Social is operated by Virtual World Search Inc. and lives alongside a broader network of
entertainment properties and venues, including over twenty live music clubs operated under the VMS (Venue Management Services) brand.
Members can meet at Real Match, then go out together to events across this wider ecosystem.
Feature Map at a Glance
At launch, the Realmatch.Social ecosystem is designed around a clear, structured feature set:
Safety & Controls — block and report tools, privacy options, safety pledges, and human moderation.
Section 2 · Member Experience
From Arrival to First Date
Everything at Real Match is laid out to feel natural for a new member. They arrive, grab the HUD, and within a few
minutes can be chatting, dancing, or sitting at a table with someone new. The same pattern will be mirrored in
supported OpenSim grids as they come online.
Arrival & HUD Pickup
Members land near the Real Match office, where they:
Get the Realmatch.Social HUD/device.
Verify their avatar and connect securely to the website.
Learn how matching, connections, rewards, and safety pledges work.
Optionally buy premium membership or GTs with L$.
HUD + MOAP Interface
The HUD uses a MOAP (Media On A Prim) web interface with clear tabs:
Home & Matches — discovery feed and swipe mode, “I’m going” event picks, and spotlight profiles.
My Profile — core profile, badges, membership status, and preferences.
Photo Gallery — public, private, inbound, and sent images.
Connections — requests, active contacts, favorites, and blocked list.
Messages — inbox, sent, and trash views for connection-based messaging.
Gifts & Wishlist — GT gift store, personal wishlist, and gift history.
Account & Safety — settings, privacy, safety tools, and help.
This keeps everything consistent: the HUD, the website, and the in-world experience are all the same system.
Lounge & Hangout
Comfortable seating and open chat areas make it easy to watch, relax, and join a conversation without pressure.
Private Screened Seating
Screened booths with sofas and tables create a semi-private feel for first dates, deeper talks, or just quiet time with one person.
Dining & Date Tables
Tables with food, drinks, and animations simulate a real date-night restaurant. Members can use them casually or activate full date-night packages powered by GTs.
Dance Floor, Radio & AI Bar
A large dance floor with custom radio and periodic DJs serves as a social magnet. The AI bot at the bar adds playful interactions and “going out” vibes,
even during quieter hours.
Games & Future Add-ons
Game machines and card tables offer yet another reason to stay, hang out, and meet people through casual play.
Additional themed areas and expansions can be layered on over time without breaking the core flow.
Section 3 · Profiles, Galleries & Messaging
How Members Present Themselves
Profiles in Realmatch.Social are built to show who someone is, how they like to spend their time in-world, and
what kinds of connections they want to build — without forcing anyone to overshare real-life details.
Profile Fields & Visibility
A typical profile includes:
Avatar name and the primary virtual world they use.
Optional age range / age display, with full control over visibility.
Gender identity and pronouns, again with “show / hide” controls.
Relationship goals: friendship, casual dating, long-term, SL partnership, etc.
Comfort settings: voice / cam / text-only, preferred times online, and how they like to communicate.
“About me” section for story, interests, and boundaries.
Connection types and activities they are open to sharing.
Optional safety pledges such as “real person” and “no drama” commitments.
Members decide what to show publicly. Some details are optional and can remain private while still feeding into
better matchmaking suggestions.
Photo Galleries: Public, Private & Shared
Realmatch.Social treats photos as a core part of identity and trust. Each member can organize imagery into:
Public Gallery — visible on their public profile; ideal for profile pictures and general photos.
Private Gallery — only visible to the member; used for personal memories or photos they are not ready to share.
Inbound — images received from other members (for example, a date sending a shot from a night out).
Sent — images the member has shared with others through the system.
Images can come from in-world screenshots, uploads to the Realmatch website, or direct references to Second Life texture UUIDs.
Public gallery tiles show up on the profile page and within the HUD, while private and shared folders are kept behind the scenes.
Contacts & Address Book
Realmatch.Social maintains a structured contact system:
Pending — outgoing and incoming connection requests awaiting a decision.
Active Contacts — mutual connections where messaging and sharing are fully enabled.
Favorites — a star/favorite flag for the most important people in your list.
Hidden — contacts kept in your list but not highlighted in daily suggestions.
Blocked — people who can no longer contact you, see your profile in discovery, or send gifts.
Contacts sync between the HUD and the website, so members always see the same list regardless of where they log in.
Connections & Messaging
To reduce spam and drama, Realmatch.Social takes a connection-first approach to messaging:
Members send a Connection Request to people they’re interested in.
Requests can be accepted, left pending, or cancelled on either side.
Once both people are connected (an active contact), full messaging is enabled between them.
Either person can cancel the connection, which removes it for both.
The messaging interface is familiar on purpose:
Inbox — current and past conversations for active connections.
Sent — messages you have sent, useful for following up on plans.
Trash — archived or deleted threads for reference, with tools to clear permanently.
Random avatars cannot simply flood people with messages. Messaging and galleries are layered on top of
deliberate, mutual connections — a core part of the safety model.
Badges & Profile Signals
Profiles can display badges for:
Connection milestones: First Match, First Date, 10+ Matches, Long-Term Connection.
Social engagement: Event Regular, Social Butterfly, Club Supporter.
Support: Donor, Wedding Client, Community Projects.
Safety & trust: Real Person Pledge, No Drama Pledge, Safety Ally.
Most badges are earned automatically based on behavior inside the ecosystem, not purchased. A small number may be
manually granted by staff for special contributions or community support.
Behind the scenes, badges are defined in a central badge catalog and stored alongside each member’s profile, so
they appear consistently in the HUD, on the website, and in future partner experiences.
Section 4 · Matching & Discovery
Finding Real Matches, Not Just Random Avatars
Realmatch.Social gives members two main ways to discover others: quick Swipe Mode and detailed Search Mode. Both are built
to support real connections, not just profile browsing or profile collecting.
Swipe Mode
Swipe Mode is fast and simple:
Shows avatar image, short bio, key interests, and visible badges.
Highlights goals such as dating, friendship, or collaboration.
Uses clear “like” and “pass” actions to keep things lightweight.
Can be tuned to prioritize people who share similar interests, activity patterns, or comfort settings.
It’s perfect for casual discovery and gives shy members a low-pressure way to start.
Search Mode
When members want more control, Search Mode lets them filter by:
Interests and hobbies.
Personality descriptors and communication style.
Relationship goals and expectations.
Activity level and typical SL / grid time.
Comfort with voice, cam, or text-only.
Whether they’re looking for dates, new friends, or group hangs.
Optional filters such as world, region type, and safety pledges.
Over time, AI-powered suggestions can help surface especially compatible profiles based on behavior and preferences,
without reading or analyzing private in-world IMs.
Section 5 · Dates & Events
Shared Experiences That Feel Like Real Outings
The platform is built around going places and doing things together, not just standing around. This keeps members engaged
and makes every match feel more meaningful.
Date Night Packages
Members can use the HUD to:
Reserve tables for specific times.
Activate themed date experiences (candlelight, music, visuals).
Plan private mini-events focused on their date.
Use partner restaurant experiences across other venues in the VMS network.
Pay for extras such as flowers, dessert carts, or photo sessions using GTs.
Island Events
Regular events keep the region active:
DJ parties and dance nights.
New-member meet-and-greets.
Couples events and group hangouts.
Holiday and seasonal special events.
Realmatch.Social benefits from the broader VMS infrastructure, which already supports dozens of events per day
across multiple venues. Members can discover these experiences directly through the HUD and website.
“I’m Going” & Event Social Graph
Every major event listing includes a simple “I’m going” toggle:
Members can mark events they plan to attend with one click.
Contacts can see where their friends and matches are likely to be.
Back-end systems can reward reliable attendance with badges and GTs.
Event organizers get a better sense of expected turnout.
Speed Dating Wing
A dedicated wing for speed dating sessions will:
Use ticket entry (paid in GTs) with rewards for taking part.
Rotate members through short rounds with different partners.
Allow private “yes/no” selections after each round.
Create matches when both members choose “yes.”
This gives members a structured way to meet many people in a short time, with less awkwardness and clearer next steps.
Section 6 · Rewards & Progression
Rewarding Engagement, Not Just Spending
The Realmatch.Social reward system is designed to put everyone on a more level playing field. Members earn progress, badges,
and Game Tokens (GTs) simply by participating.
What Earns Rewards
Members receive rewards for actions like:
Logging in each day and being consistently active.
Liking profiles and receiving likes that turn into matches.
Making new friends and keeping connections over time.
Showing up for dates where both people actually attend.
Leaving honest notes and feedback about dates and experiences.
Using restaurant tables, dancing, and exploring the island.
Joining events, games, and speed dating sessions.
Maintaining a wishlist of gifts and experiences and receiving those gifts.
Inviting friends and helping grow the Realmatch community (without spam).
Badges & Levels
As they participate, members earn badges such as:
First Match, First Date, First Event.
New Friends, Social Butterfly, Event Regular.
Wishlist Keeper, Date Feedback Contributor.
Supporter / Donor recognition badges.
Safety Ally, Real Person Pledge, No Drama Pledge.
Behind the scenes, badges are tracked in a structured system so they can be surfaced consistently across the HUD,
the website, and future partner experiences. Levels and badges highlight positive, consistent members and give them
visible status in the community without turning Realmatch into a pay-to-win environment.
A member’s visible “level” reflects long-term participation and positive behavior, not just how many GTs they have spent.
Section 7 · Game Tokens (GTs)
A Closed, Entertainment-Only Token System
Game Tokens (GTs) are the reward currency that powers gifts, date packages, and special features. They are intentionally
a closed system: fun to earn and spend, but never cashed out.
Closed System Rules
GTs:
Cannot be exchanged for L$.
Cannot be exchanged for USD or any real-world currency.
Cannot be withdrawn out of the platform.
Are purely for entertainment and access to in-world features.
Over time, GTs may also be usable across other Virtual World Search Inc. experiences and partner sites that choose
to support the same closed-loop system, while still remaining non-cashable.
Earning GTs
GTs are earned through engagement:
Daily login rewards.
Likes, matches, and new friends.
Dates where both people actually show up.
Notes and feedback after dates.
Using Real Match restaurant tables and date experiences.
Events, games, and speed dating participation.
Occasional seasonal missions and community challenges.
Rewards are random within a range. Early on this may be 1–50 GT per reward, and at higher levels it may increase
to ranges like 100–400 GT. It is realistic for active members to earn 1,000 or more GT fairly quickly, just by being social.
Speed dating tickets and other ticketed activities.
Profile boosts and cosmetic upgrades.
Wedding deposits and celebration upgrades.
Gift Store, Gifting & Wishlists
The GT gift store is tightly integrated with profiles and contacts:
Each member can maintain a wishlist of gifts and experiences.
Contacts can browse each other’s wishlists and send gifts powered by GTs.
Gifts are logged in a gift history for each relationship, visible to both people.
Some gifts unlock small animations, decorations, or event boosts in-world.
This turns GTs into something that feels personal and relational, not just a number in a wallet.
Optional GT Purchases
While GTs are easy to earn, members can also buy GTs if they want to stock up for gifts or big moments, using:
Linden Dollars (L$) in Second Life.
Real-world payments (such as PayPal) where offered.
The system is designed so engagement, not spending, remains the primary path to access.
Section 8 · Premium & Donations
Premium Memberships and Support
The core Realmatch.Social experience is free. For members who want extra visibility, convenience, and perks, there
are optional premium memberships and donation options.
Premium Membership Tiers
Premium memberships are paid monthly in L$:
Standard Premium (example ~500 L$/month)
Enhanced profile display and subtle highlights.
Better visibility in swipe and search results.
More wishlist slots and extended gallery capacity.
Extra daily reward chances.
Access to some premium date themes.
Priority access to support when help is needed.
Gold Membership (example ~1500 L$/month)
All Standard Premium features.
Early access to selected events and speed dating.
Priority booth access and seating.
Gold badge and visible status across the platform.
Higher GT reward ranges on many actions.
First access to limited seasonal items.
Optional “priority match” boosts on a limited schedule.
Premium is optional. Members can still enjoy Realmatch.Social and reach meaningful experiences using GTs they earn for free.
Membership Status in the Interface
Membership status is visible but not overwhelming:
A small badge on the profile and in matching cards.
Clear labeling in the account area for renewals and upgrades.
No hidden “paywall” around core messaging or connection tools.
Donations
Donations provide another way to support the platform. Donors may receive:
Supporter / donor badges.
Optional recognition in supporter lists.
Occasional small GT or cosmetic perks.
Section 9 · Weddings & Partnerships
Turning Matches into Milestones
Realmatch.Social doesn’t stop at first dates. For some couples, the natural next step is a wedding or commitment
ceremony inside Second Life. To support this, Real Match plans to work with dedicated wedding providers.
Wedding Provider Network
Partners include:
Wedding venues and chapels.
Photographers and videographers.
Decor, flowers, and event stylists.
Formalwear designers (dresses, tuxedos, etc.).
Wedding planners, coordinators, DJs, and performers.
GT-Funded Weddings
Members can pay for wedding packages with GTs:
Realmatch.Social pays the wedding provider directly in L$.
Members can reach a “high-ticket” wedding by earning GTs over time.
Weddings and celebrations become an achievable goal, not just a luxury.
Section 10 · Projections & Outlook
Growth, Gifts, and L$ Flows
As Realmatch.Social grows, it is expected to become a major social destination and relationship hub inside Second Life,
with OpenSim support adding new communities over time. Below are directional projections based on typical patterns for
successful community venues and virtual economies.
Member Growth
Month 1
≈ 200 members
Early adopters and launch attendees.
Month 3
≈ 5,000 members
Steady growth from events and word-of-mouth.
Month 6
≈ 30,000 members
Recognized as a go-to dating and social hub.
Year 1
≈ 100,000 members
A large, active, multi-timezone community.
Gifts & Weddings
With a culture of gifting and date planning:
By Month 6: around 25,000 gifts per month (roses, chocolates, date boosts, etc.).
By Year 1: approximately 250,000 gifts per month.
Weddings: starting around 5 per month early on, reaching 25 per month by Month 6, and around 100–150 per month by Year 1 as couples progress through the system.
Premium Memberships & L$ Revenue
With a projected member base of 100,000 and a 10% premium adoption:
≈ 10,000 premium members.
Average spend ~800 L$ per premium per month (blend of Standard and Gold).
≈ 8,000,000 L$ per month from premium memberships.
GT Purchases & Donations
Additional flows may include:
GT purchases: roughly 10–15 million L$ per month as gifting and date spending scales.
Donations: around 1.5 million L$ per month from supporters.
Taken together, Realmatch.Social could support L$ flows in the range of 20–25 million L$ per month
by the end of the first year, all while keeping the system free at the core and focused on engagement, community,
and real matches.
These numbers are projections, not guarantees, and can be refined as the platform goes live and data is collected.
Section 11 · Safety, Privacy & Trust
Built for Real People, Not Surveillance
Realmatch.Social is intentionally designed as a low-drama, low-scam environment for real people. Safety and privacy are
handled in a way that feels respectful, not invasive, and is documented in our
Safety and Community Guidelines pages.
What We Do Not Do
We do not read your private instant messages inside Second Life, OpenSim, or other grids.
We do not run AI tools over your in-world IM logs.
We do not sell your personal information.
What We May Use AI For
Where AI is used, it is focused on safety and quality:
Checking uploaded images for obvious violations of our guidelines.
Helping suggest profile improvements, prompts, or matches based on the preferences you choose to share.
Improving the experience of menus, descriptions, and in-world tools — not spying on conversations.
Member Safety Tools
Safety is built directly into the contact and messaging system:
Block — instantly stops contact, visibility, and gifting attempts from a specific avatar.
Mute — hides a person from your feed and suggestions without fully blocking them.
Report — sends a detailed report to staff for harassment, scams, or guideline violations.
Connection gating — most messaging requires a mutual connection, greatly reducing random spam.
Visibility control — fine-grained settings for gallery visibility, profile details, and search options.
Members can also choose stricter modes (for example, “friends of friends only”) if they prefer a smaller but safer discovery pool.
Reporting, Blocking & False Reports
Members can block and report others for harassment, scams, inappropriate content, or guideline violations. Reports are
reviewed by humans and assessed based on:
The technical design — connection-gated messaging, visibility controls on galleries, and clear mute/block tools —
reinforces this: members should feel like they have control over who can approach them and how.
Knowingly filing false or weaponized reports — for example, using reports as revenge after a breakup or rejection —
is itself a violation and can lead to warnings, limits, or removal from the platform.
Safety Pledges & Culture
In addition to tools, culture matters. Members are encouraged to:
Agree to a real person pledge (no alts used to deceive others).
Agree to a no drama pledge (no harassment, stalking, or revenge behavior).
Respect boundaries around voice, cam, and real-life details.
Use block and report tools early, before situations escalate.
These pledges are reflected on profiles through badges and signals, making it easier to find people who share the same mindset.
