Community Guidelines

Last updated: 2025

Realmatch.Social is built for real people, low drama, and respectful connections in virtual worlds. These Community Guidelines explain what we expect from everyone using our services in Second Life, OpenSim-based grids (including Alternate Metaverse), and on our website.

1. How these guidelines relate to our Terms

These Community Guidelines are a plain-language companion to our Terms of Service. They do not replace the Terms, but they explain how we apply our rules in practice.

Using Realmatch.Social means you agree to follow both the Community Guidelines and the Terms of Service.

2. Core principles

Everything on Realmatch.Social is built around a few simple ideas:

3. Adults only

4. Profile honesty and identity

To keep the experience genuine:

5. Photos, profile images, and public content

Public-facing content on Realmatch.Social should be suitable for a PG-13-style environment, even though the Service is for adults:

We may use automated tools and third-party services to help detect and remove content that breaks these rules. We may blur, block, or delete images that violate our standards and may take action on the related account.

6. Respectful behavior toward others

To keep Realmatch.Social welcoming, we do not allow:

If you disagree with someone, you can choose to unmatch, mute, or block them instead of escalating conflict.

7. Boundaries, consent, and dating etiquette

8. Scams, money, and “too good to be true” offers

We do not allow the Service to be used for scams or financial abuse. Prohibited behavior includes:

If someone is repeatedly asking for money or making suspicious offers, disconnect and consider reporting them.

9. Bots, automation, and spam

10. Using safety tools and reports responsibly

Realmatch.Social offers (or may offer) tools such as block, mute, and report to help keep you safe. Using them responsibly is part of being in this community.

11. Consequences for breaking these guidelines

When these Guidelines are broken, we may take one or more of the following actions, depending on the severity and pattern:

We may also need to act quickly and without prior notice if we believe there is a serious risk to users or the community.

12. Changes to these guidelines

As Realmatch.Social grows and expands across Second Life and OpenSim-based worlds, we may update these Community Guidelines. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of the Service after updates are posted means you accept the revised Guidelines.

13. Questions or feedback
